Admittedly, I've no idea who that Pokemon on top is anymore. I just got it cause my Pinkies wanted a Gashapon machine.

These little figures by Bandai are called Pokemon Kids. I collect them when ever i can but i only buy the ones i like. So it's not really an ongoing collection.
I don't really watch Pokemon but i find some of the characters to cute to resist. My favorites includes Mew (Myu in Japanese) Chikorita (Chicorita) & Torchic (Achamo).

Ahhh. The joys of being in Japan. There's too much good stuff when going to stores, such as action figures, anime stuff, and well... all things Pokemon. Umbreon is one of my favorite Pokemon, especially of the Dark type. Finally being able to get a figure of one is just too awesome. I picked this up while in Yokohama.

Pikachu Collection - Bandai Toys

Note:
These are known as "Pokemon Kids", small plastic figures that are hollow inside (hole at the bottom). Bandai makes them and each comes with a box & sticker/card. Some might be "clear" (they are basically transparent - the darkest pika is a "clear"). These are mostly found in Japan, but they can be found elsewhere like the UK. You can purchase these on Ebay, Amazon & Yahoo Auctions Japan. Here's a link to all known figures:

Mew is one out of four characters favoured by the kids' mum (that would be me), the other three being Celebi, Ralts and Wooper.
